Improving a prominent channel of government communication; facilitating proximity to citizens; allowing an immediate and intuitive access to public information; solving more procedures and accessing institutional services in just a few clicks, were some of the premises with which we shaped this distinctively institutional project.
The development of this site allowed us in PIAM to venture into the always challenging field of political communication and public service.
To improve governance processes with the inclusion of new technologies, thinking about the indisputable advantages that this would bring to the people of Ecuador, motivated us in a special way to carry out this project.
The analytics are convincing when analyzing the impact on the usability of the new site developed by PIAM. Since its implementation, the bounce rate has dropped from 56% to 24%. At the same time, the average visitation time increased very significantly: from 00:01:56 to 00:04:13.
In the first three months of evaluation, there was a 27% increase in the number of visits.
